Location type keywords
Can someone please tell me how to set keywords on an object / house. A couple of mods like bathing in skyrim, and heathfire multiple adoptions require setting keywords for proper operation, but I can't find any reference as to how to properly set the keywords, or where they should be set.

It's likely done in the MCM menu.
hi darknight, no it's not part of an existing mod, it's to make custom mods compatable with scripts within their mods ... IE: I have to set the location type keyword on my custom player home to "dwelling" so it matches Heathfires and I can move my familly.

TESEdit is better for looking contents
But it can't read scripts ...

Assuming you're seriously asking, yes.
TESEdit is more like value changer.
open the house mod in TESedit
scroll down to location and expand
scroll down to keyword count
edit those,there should be 3
it should be Loctype dwelling,Loctypehouse,Loctypeplayerhouse
those options should appear when you confirm edit,scroll to find them

LocTypeDwelling [KYWD:000130DC]
LocTypeHouse [KYWD:0001CB85]
LocTypePlayerHouse [KYWD:000FC1A3]
for copy/paste

the house mod will also have to have hearthfire as a master file to or else it will just be vanilla house options used (edit keywords to match)

I was, I usually go to TESEdit to modify things, I was editing a perk that relied on a script. The perk never functioned the way it was suppose too.

TES5edit will change/add scripts to (that is what we are doing above)
but the kicker is it prefers esp. and loose files
sometimes with esm. and bsa. it just wont play nice
you must make edits across all master files also other wise they are just overwritten(or you CTD)

Thanks, I found the keyword section in CK under misc, but I had no idea what to do with them. I also need to modify the beds and the table/chairs or evidently the kids won't sandbox correctly. Looking forward to giving this a try. Thanks again

Just completed editing the house, searching for the furniture ... I'm using MO so I will backup the ESP before copying the overwrite folder into the mod. Thanks again. I don't really use TES5Edit much, but I already found an error I missed ;-) more tools to master.
i use a toaster,if it was not for the edit programs i would be screwed :tgrin:
i can barely get past making an esp in geck,ck...crash (me to dumb,impatient :tgrin:)
TESedit is so light and so easy though,its a joy compared
its worth knowing for any budding modder,i dont know one yet that was not glad they did
