Go into Dwemer ruins and collect scrap metal, smelt it into Dwarven Metal Ingots and make Dwarven bows. Then enchant them before selling them.
You can also use the Bag of Holding mod to store all the armor and weapons you find on the NPC's you kill and then sell them when you get to a merchant.
I am sure others will say use console to give yourself gold.
Humor aside, if you're just starting out, sell everything that isn't nailed down. When merchants run out of gold, just rest 24 hours and rinse and repeat. You could also mine iron, smith some daggers, and then sell 'em.
Seriously, money is not an issue in this game after a bit.
If you want a legit way, then leveling up Alchemy, Enchanting and Smithing with Ingredients and Materials you find is the best way, other than that, just explore the world and look for valuable items.
Just make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of potion and sell it. It's the easiet way:
-Ingredients are easy to find, cheap and weigh almost nothing;
-Potions are also light-weight, so it's better than making armor or weapon;
-Smithing armor/weapon takes a lot of resources, which takes time;
-You won't be needing to spend point in the alchemy tree. You will do fine without a single perk on it.
As said before enchanting is also a good idea, but then again, it costs more inventory space and we are way too lazy for that.
Seriously, I think making something that costs 320, weights 0,5 and it's made out of grass is pretty nice.
Both skills train up really easy and will probably earn you more skill points than you put into them. And you don't really need to put any points in to make good cash out of them.
Even in the early stages of the game it can be quite profitable to buy ingredients, make (expensive) potions and sell them back to the store. It's also a good way to level up.
