LOOT will sort your mods and give warnings if you are missing a required mod. However, if you load an old mod, and another newer mod that do something that overlaps and may conflict, well that requires you to read mod descriptions, a lot of times info there will tell you what you need to know, but not always.

LOOT does not detect conflicts. It ONLY tells you about conflicts that are manually entered into its system, which is practically never.

To do proper conflict detection you need to use Tes5Edit and be able to read Skyrims data structure.

There is currently no automatic conflict detection tool

How does it detect?

It will not fix your problems only load order.
It gives you messages, warnings and errors about your game.

I came across mod manager it seems far easier to use then the others and better.

Any proper modm manager (Nexus Mod Manger or Mod Organizer) is strongly recommended, but neither the replaces LOOT as load order tool.

I recommend using either one and running LOOT to sort the load order, with known exceptions.

Load order and resource priority basics

It is not a full version. I strongly recommend downloading and installing full version of LOOT. Methods in NMM and MO are not trustworthy tools.
