Poison prevention
There are dozens of cure disease potion bottles in my inventory but seldom come across any "Cure Poison" potions. I use garlic and troll fat to resist getting poisoned and have the cure poison recipe somewhere, and have on occasion managed to dodge a blast from a frostbite spider, but even the slightest glimmer of a chaurus and i get poisoned by them. The only solution would be to buy some from Birna's, Hag's Cure or Dawnstar shop. Why are they so hard to come by?

Base mana cost is what calculates how much exp you get.
The healing per second spells seem to heal slower.... a lot slower, no idea why.
The dual cast perk calculates exp given as just one spell.

The point i was making was that when starting out in this game i had quite a few of these "cure poison" potions but they are rare to find within the tundra of Skyrim, so only really available from shops or by doing the right alchemy. Only posts relevant to the OP please.

There are some good ideas here:

You can't make cure poison potions, yes they are rare later on, i believe the poison resist enchantment is almost impossible to find after lvl 20 or so. Getting the snakeblood perk is useful as well.

They drop occasionally from Silver Hand bandits too. Does the poison do enough damage that it's worth to cure it rather than just chugging a healing potion, which is both cheaper and much easier to find? Or a healing spell.

I never thought of using a healing spell - thought that was used more for raising the health bar after combat damage.

heal means heals your lost health and the spell can be used while in combat

From UESP:
Cure Poison heals any negative effects caused by poisons. It is only available from built-in potions, and cannot be created with alchemy.
