I can't log into Elder Scrolls.
Though I've changed nothing about my PC arrangement with the game program; I was recently told my game was no longer in touch with my drive C:. Which is where I've had it for 5 years. When I look into drive C:, the game info is still there. I also play Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas and their access and function is fine. I'm not sure of what I should do. Must I uninstall Elder Scrolls and reinstall it? Paying for it again?

It may just be that the desktop shortcut got messed somehow. Look in your Skyrim Data folder and find the TESV.exe file. Click on that and see if the game launches. If it does, then just delete the existing desktop shortcut and make a new one. To do so, right click on the TESV.exe file, select "Send to" from the list that appears, and then from the next list, click on "Desktop (create shortcut)". That should create a new shortcut for the game on your desktop.

If that does not work, you may need to validate the game files. See:

Validating master files by Ilja - https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/535150948617437868/
(from PINNED TOPIC Helpful Links and References Section 5 - General Troubleshooting)

And if that is not successful, you may have to try a reinstall of the game.

if none of that works, then post back here and maybe someone will have some other ideas.

Good luck!
