HELP! Cant attack!
ive genuinely NEVER encountered a bug this weird. i can attack with my left hand, use magic just fine, and bows. but CANT do two handed attacks, or attack with my right hand in the slightest. already checked keybinds. if i do try to use my right hand or a greatsword i can only power attack but no normal attacking. have no idea what caused this cuz it just randomly happened after i reloaded my game.

Have your tried an earlier save from when you were still able to attack normally? And if it works on the earlier save, then directly reload your current save and see if it works.

Also, you can try exiting the game, then completely shutting down Steam and then your PC - then restart your PC and Steam and then try (this will sometimes works with certain issues).

Additionally, did you make any changes to your game since the last time you played? There is also the thought that maybe it is a hardware issue - either the mouse button or controller has an issue with that particular button.

Yeah, wait on doing that - someone else may be able to provide some other possibilities to look into. Reinstalling is always a last resort.

There is one thing you could try, and that is validating the master files. See:

Validating master files by Ilja - https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/535150948617437868/
(from the PINNED TOPIC Helpful Links and References. Section 5 - General Troubleshooting)

That sometimes fixes a lot of issues.
