Words "level up" stuck permanently on the screen

After I loaded Skyrim to play with the Xbox controller for the first time, the words "level up" are now written on the screen permanently at the bottom of the screen.

I was playing with mouse and keyboard before this and never had this issue ever but today got an Xbox controller and this happened.

I already did level up several days ago, I'm not sure why it still says that or what is causing this, is this a bug? Can I get rid of it?

Actually, I lowered the resolution and it fixed the problem, not sure what the issue exactly is with this.

Glad you fixed it! Yeah, it's a strange bug that crops up every once in a while, the important thing is you got it fixed.
