Any idea whats up with console command codes?

So im trying to build my house again near Falkrieth and it seems i cant enter the codes for the items i need.

i type in Player.additem 0400300e for Sawn logs and it gives me

"Item not found for Paramata Object ID"

What the hell?

The logs are not a player usable item, so you cannot add it to your inventory.

I worked it out, it goes by load order -.- so apparently i have to go 05 for some reason

You still won't succeed. The command can only be used to give items to the player. The logs are an item that are added to the log pile.

Is Hearthfire the fourth item in your load order? Plus you need to end with a space and quantity

player.additem xx0400300e 10

If you're unsure where Hearthfire is in your load order spam the numbers. Try 0500300e, 0600300e, 0700300e etc.

Indeed the first 2 digits stand for the loadorder hearth fires can be also 03 or whatever Just give it a try. It doesn't matter if it's usable or not I did it countless times this way

Buy some logs, then use the player.inv command to inspect your inventory - they'll be there. The log pile you see outside each house merely indicates that you have one or more logs available.

Also, a note on load order: the numbers are hexadecimal. If you have more than eight* additional plugins you may need to think about it a bit before typing it in.

*The first two 'slots' are occupied by Skyrim.esm [00] and Update.esm [01] respectively.
