Can't talk to Septimus

I collected the blood for the quest Discerning the Transmundane and went to talk to him, and I can't. Doesn't say talk. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=287208006

make a save, then load that save.

I did. I even reloaded my last save before that one and it didn't work. Also restarted the game.

Idk if I should do that with mods. Last time I did that all my mods got messed up

this will tell you to take the blood to him. between 50-55 is the animations and such. increase the stages 1 by 1 and see what happens.
reset da04
will reset quest.

Pretty sure my games already pretty screwed up, I've had way too many issues in the past.

i did say CAUTION. You are right , you should try every other in game method first such as waiting and adventuring for a while and even attacking him. verifying the cache in this instance probably wont work. i believe he found a glitch. I assume people try these things before resorting to tyhe console. IDK why because most dont seem to. soory to walk on your advice and help.
