Are you using custom skeleton that was not supported by DSR? It requires XP32 Maximum Skeleton.
If you already have that,are you using custom race that's not supported? (ECE's YgNord for example,it's not compatible with DSR because unsupported skeleton) If yes,do this:
After installing XP32 Maximum Skeleton,navigate to your Skyrim Data folder,then to Meshes/actors/character/character assets and copy skeleton.nif and
skeletonbeast.nif then paste it to your custom race folder,normally inside the same folder as the Character Assets.
If you're using female character,copy the .nif files from Character Assets Female folder,named skeleton_female.nif and skeletonbeast_female.nif to your custom race folder.Though it doesn't hurt to copy both the male and female assets.
Don't forget to run the Skyproc patch and the FNIS.
Old XP32 skeleton lacks features to work properly with modern versions of related mods.
