ELFX brightness
Hi,

I have a concern about skyrim, I put mods with mod organizer, however, after installing ELFX the result is the following :

With ELFX : http://puu.sh/nC49Y/12cf5eda75.jpg

Without ELFX : http://puu.sh/nC4c2/ee3a000fb1.jpg

Is there a problem rr that's how that should be ELFX mod ?

I hope someone can help me.

(Here a screenshot of my MO if it helps : http://puu.sh/nCAHT/00079a7836.png )

Is it even ELFX? As far as I know, it changes pight sources and interior lighting, it doesn't affect the outside.
It must be another mod

well you're wrong it has an exterior lighting component in the new version it is baked in the installer however I don't use it (COT+enb)

But doesn't it just affect light sources, like torches? This looks to me like a weather mod.

It's ELFX because on the two screenshot, only ELFX is activate or desactive. (All the other mods activated too, I have not tried without)

Indeed if you don't believe it's ELFX have a look on the mod page what the mod does and can do. heck elfx has even his own weather mod ....

question what version of elfx? and what modules if it is the latest one? have the impression it is ELFX weathers btw.

The last version, 3.01, I downloaded it yesterday, i don't understand your second question :/

Edit :

I tried to start my game by unchecking esp ELFX - weather and it's actually one that causes this change, my question is whether it is normal that so colored / luminous?

well I can't say it for sure problem is that I use COT so I've deactivated that part. Well that is what I meant ELFX has several modules or esps (interior, enhancer, weather, exterior, ice and so on)

Yes thats normal for it. Most weather mods up the saturation because vanilla skyrim is so dull. ELFX does it a bit more then normal.

Ok thank you, and there are no worries that i use it with cot ?
Nazenn Mar 11, 2016 @ 3:49am
Weather mods are almost always not compatible. Depending on your load order, either ELFX weathers will be shown, or CoTs weathers, not both. If you want to use CoTs weathers, disable ELFXs weather module
SpeedFreak1972 Mar 11, 2016 @ 3:56am
indeed I disabled exteriors and weather I use COT and an enb for the rest.

Thank you for your answers ! :)

No problem, let me know if theres anything else you need.
Just keep in mind, unless the mod EXPLICITLY states compatibility on their mod page, weather mods are usually completely incompatible (mods that impliment their functions via scripts are an exception, like wonders of weather which is compatible with everything)

Thank you, i have maybe a last question, on ELFX nexus page, it's written :

"The ELFX Weathers

-It should be compatible with any mod that doesn't change the weathers. It may be compatible with Climates of Tamriel, because it doesn't change the vanilla weathers, but I don't recommend it, because CoT has so much weathers that you may barely experience mine."

So CoT seems better for weather, but the fact is CoT doesn't change the color like the first screen on my first post.

how I can combine the beautiful colors of ELFX Weather and CoT?
Nazenn Mar 11, 2016 @ 4:42am
CoT doesn't change the vanilla weathers because it actually removes them from being accessed by the game.

For color adjustments, I recommend that you use a SweetFX/Reshade setting. You can find some on the nexus, like ICBINE 2 (I cant believe its not ENB). SweetFX also has less intensive AA then Skyrims default so that can be good as well.
