Hadvar or Ralof
Im in the very beggining part of the game where game tells me to decide to go with Ralof or Hadvar. Im guessing one goes to the Imperial route of the game storyand the other one goes to the Stormcoak route of the story. If any one of you know the pros and cons of each side i would apreciated

You get to decide later. Not that it matters. Both routes are the EXACT same. Same quests atleast and some meaningless rewards that you'll just sell because your enchanted sword is better. Don't expect meaningful choices in this game.

Pretty much it, yeah.

And even after you officially pick an army (something you can do at your leisure), you still get one last chance to change your mind after that.

In the long run - once the war is done and dusted - the main changes are to who's in charge of certain holds, and which guards will patrol them. For example, siding with the Stormcloaks gets Balgruuf kicked out of Whiterun.

The only unique rewards you get are the armour of either the Imperial leader (Tullius) or that of the Stormcloaks (Ulfric).

If you roam the land and talk to people long enough before choosing, and perhaps even play through the main questline, you'll find it easier to make your own decisions about the war.

I'd say go with Hadvar. As others mentioned, it doesn't lock you into either side, but there is one small benefit when you reach Riverwood. Raloff's family owns the mill. Like Hadvar's family, they will give you a few things to help you along, but Hadvar's family is Alvor, the blacksmith. His iron and steel ingots will change from "steal" to "take," if you've come into town with Hadvar. That can be a help at early levels, when money is tight.
