Then how exactly did you do this? Because as far as I can tell you used console commands or were running a mod that brings cut content back into the game.
1. A screen shot of you the crown doesnt show you didn't use mods/console commands.

2. The item isn't the game with or without DLC, we all know you are lying.

Im just gonna go ahead and call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

The Ancient Falmer Crown is an armor piece in the The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. It serves as the helmet for the Ancient Falmer Armor set, but is classified as a circlet, rather than a piece of armor.

Acquisition.
This crown cannot be obtained without the use of console commands. The needed console command would be: player.additem XX00C814.

Smithing
It can be upgraded with a Refined Moonstone ingot at a workbench, but since it has no armor rating, only the value is upgraded.

right from the wiki....so......ya.

obviously i am useing mods but no armour mods. also, the wikia cannot be used as evidence, because it itself says it is inacurate and incomplete.

IIRC, the unofficial patches addressed the Falmer crown. Placed one right on the floor of the patio/balcony where you fight the boss.

Run your game without mods and see if you come to the same conclusion, because with mods on your findings is essentially pointless.

hmm..... how much would that ♥♥♥♥ up?

also, if you look at the screenshot he has the helmet equiped, and you cant force a dead body to equip something.

also, yes... i do really like steel plate armour (you can see i have steel plate gauntlets and 399 defence.)

If you just turn off the esps then nothing bad should happen.

You can force a target to equip items with this command: Equipitem <ItemID> <#>
But if you didn't do that then a mod probably changed his inventory so he would equip the crown.

the only mod i can think of that would change it is immersive armours but i couldnt find it on the nexus.

If you don't have the mod installed then you probably wouldn't have to worry about it...

Ancient Falmer Crown DG (xx00c814)
Circlet Refined Moonstone;
perk: None 2 350 0 Only available with the Dawnguard add-on
Normally unobtainable without console commands.
Newer versions of the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch make the this item available from Arch-Curate Vyrthur along with the other Ancient Falmer gear.
Smithing and Light Armor perks are also made to work properly with the crown.

so yes when using the unofficial Dawnguard patch you most certainly found this crown as you said and yes its properties were changed to light armor.

Well, you obviously cheated then, or you do. There are multiple ways to get this, and if your saying none of them are how you got the crown then i call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
