Player character doesn't make a sound
My character doesn't produce any sound. No "Voice", no sound when smashing things, no nothing. Only you can hear are footsteps. Weird!!! I deleted all my mods and started from begining. Same thing. I've deleted the whole game and installed it again, same problem. Does anyone now what is the problem?

Try this first. Do you currently have any mods installed?

Check settings in game and make sure the sounds volume is turned up. Are your sound drivers up to date?

sound volume is at high. all of my drivers are up to date, video and sound.

it shouldnt be having that problem unless your game volume is down. but in your case you can hear the character just not the sounds of hitting smashing things. so i am not entirely sure whats going on i wish i could help but i havent had that problem with my skyrim game.

Solved!! I had to move the game in to my internal HD. W10 and my external drive (My Book) are not compatible.

I'm having the same problem. Should I movee skyrim to the same hard drive that the steam x86 launcher is located?
