A night to remember - Cant apologize to the Priestess of Dibella?

I started this quest ages ago and finally got to the point where I have to apologize to the priestess. This quest is glitchy ... :L She isnt giving me the option to aplogize to her. I cant reload the file, any thoughts? Thanks for any help! I might just have to wait it out for a while. ...

Have you picked up the rubbish you scattered around the temple? What's your quest log say, exactly?

Ok I started this ages ago, and at the time I couldn't find the hagraven feathers or the note. I ended up finding the feathers in a shop so I got them that way I don't have the holy water either which I think I sold it by accident. As nothing was happening at the time I just stopped it and did other quests.

Now I'm back and I found the note and now my quest icon says that I need to apologise to the priestess but she doesn't have the dialogue. I can't persuade her either.

I've tried waiting a few times and deselecting the quest but nada....

Have you already spoken to the priestess "ages ago" I'm not 100% positive but I think that it's more of a reference to speaking with her than appologizing. As Bomb Bloke said... search the temple and basically pick up everything on the floor that isn't nailed down then try to speak with her again. She won't deal with you until the mess is cleaned up.

Have you installed the unofficial patches... they fix a lot

Ohhh thanks guys I will try and clean the temple again, I've just remembered that I spoke to Ysolda already so I do have to fetch the ring. Might give that a go as well. Thanks for the link that will come in handy.

May be necroing... but this glitch got me too. Doing what id do in real life, i paid for the damage and bolted out. Several days later. Like... months.... i found in a guide sam left a note.. found it, quest updated to apologizr to the lady, but the lady forgot the quest, thus appologizing impossible.. but ya.. i paid for the damage. But game dont see it as mission progress. Playing the switch version. Ill remember thos fpr future playthroughs

For those of you who like myself came back to this game for the newest updates, and were worried about it including being frustrated by no answers available, cleaning up the few items in the temple and talking to her may not remove it (yet) from the quest log - but you don't have to. Completing the rest of the 'night to remember' quest marked it as done and removed it from my to-do list.
