Can you craft a Amethyst into a Flawless Amethyst?

No, you might check on the nexus for a mod though, but have never seen one. Mining often gets gems, might be an option.

Mod allows you to craft flawless gems at the forge. (Jewelry section). I don use it, so can't say one way or the other how good it is, but might be worth a try.

Awezome :) Im reffering to the misc-quest where you have to collect 3 Flawless Amethyst for that guy in Riften. (Sorry if spoiler)
