[SOLVED] Running Creation Kit through Mod Organizer 2
Hi guys, I want to make some small things with Creation Kit, and since I'm using MO2, I guess I should launch CK through it. Trouble is, whenever I try to run CK I get this message: "Application load error V:0000065432". After googling it I've found out it's got something to do with Steam, and the recommended fix is restarting Steam by closing it completely, but that doesn't change anything.
Suggestions?

EDIT: To all of you who found the solution: Thank you very much, it seems you have helped so many people getting this to work.

To all of you who still finds this years after I made this post: It makes me smile everytime I get a notification about someone has gotten their problems solved <3

Is your account logged into Steam anywhere other than the computer you are using? Did you try this I found on the step forums...

As much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if some overly zealous or poorly developed anti-virus software is causing an issue.

Try this to see it helps at all:
Run Mod Organizer
Click Modify Executable (the gears icon at the top)
Click the Creation Kit shortcut you created
Check Overwrite Steam AppID and enter 202480 in the textbox
Click Modify
Click Close
Now try to run Creation Kit and hopefully (crossing fingers) it actually runs this time.

Is there any updates to this in 2022 - ive tried the above steps and a few others but nothing that I change seems to let me open Creation Kit in MO2
I just get the Application load error - V:0000065432
Any other tips ?

UPDATE! Finally fixed it!

if the above code does not work try this process...

For those who run Creation Kit from Mod Organizer and get the "Steam Error V:0000065432 at startup:
- Click the top right executable drop down list and select "Edit..."
- Find the "Creation Kit" entry
- Under "Overwrite Steam AppID" section, enter "1946180" and check the box.
- Click Okay and hit Run. There should be no more error.

:) 2022 update.

Thanks much, @DanK. It works for me and I'd tried everything with no luck.

Kinda new to this but when you create the executable with creation kit what did u put in Start in section ?
SlimCrusty Jun 30, 2022 @ 3:17pm
I left the start in section blank as it didnt need anything in there to start.
could try leading it to your MO2 Exe but if it works, leaving it blank is probably best.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant, thank you for sharing!!!

i just want to share that using the original override "202480" was enough to let me launch the CK through mo2 "properly," as in steam allowed mo2 to open the program.

however, in the time since then i'd been at a loss as to why my installed plugins (barring the base game, expansions, and creation club content) weren't appearing in CK's load dialogue. i mean, that eliminates the purpose of launching from mo2 in the first place, if i can't load and edit the mods i'm staging in mo2's virtual system.

naturally, going and dumping all of my mods into my game's data folder is definitely not the kind of thing i want to be doing before i'm totally certain i'm experiencing a known issue.

i believe the CK for SSE / FO4 was downloaded and installed through the bethesda launcher up until april of this year. that would explain why it's registered with a new appid.
