Add FLAC to Soundtrack
Come on, the soundtrack is worth it. The MP3s are noticeably worse quality than FLAC (I also have the CD version, and absolutely can tell the difference - I bought the new soundtrack for easier file manipulation and was disappointed to only see MP3s)

Wait, they put FLAC on a CD? :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Yep, in the sense that WAV = FLAC in terms of sound quality (FLAC is lossless compression)

Hmmm why not just rip the soundtrack directly from game files via BSA Archive extractor?
There is a program that converts skyrim .xwm music files to wav (aswell as to mp3 but you prefer higher quality so wav it is)

Can't get any better quality than same files that are directly used ingame, no? :P

You actually can from the CD version by several multiples on a bit-rate basis. The in-game files are heavily compressed versus the CD files.
