Dark Brotherhood Quest glitch

I am at the part where Rexus is mean't to give me the items problem is....

Rexus keep's on bloody attacking me for no reason can someone explain this to me?

Go out side and make a save, close game. Start up again, go talk to him, bring up console, zoom in to first person view, right click on his face and middle body to get id. Make sure id is the same for head and body and not something behind him.
Type in
resetai
hit enter and close console.
If that does not work bring up console and get id and enter the following
disable (he should disappear)
enter
enable
enter
Close console. If this messes up the quest chain aftetwards, just load up your last save.

You can't exactly talk to him as he's attacking you on site.

Your not talking to him, you should be opening console command with the ~key to try and reset him, so he won't attack you.
