Help restarting civil war questline
So I've been looking around for a while and found a few ways, but I am not sure if any of them work, and I don't want to mess up my saves. Skyrim has been out for over 5 years, so I am sure there's a way. Please help.

And no, I don't want to restart my save character, as I've spent at least 300+ hours on this character, and it's been 100+ hours since I beat the civil war quest line.

Sorry, but I don't think there is any way that you can restart a main questline when your character has already completed it. You will have to start a new character.

Yep. You can not backtrack quests like that. Even if quest stages would get changed, character scripts have been already ran.

Vanilla Civil War is notoriously buggy. Attempting to fiddle with it with console would only break it completely.

And they say the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls doesn't have ANY real consequences when it comes to choices.

In this case, the main "consequence" is that the world's a lot less interesting once the war's done. Forts filled with neutral soliders aren't as fun as hostile bandits, mages, etc...

Well yeah,the main goal of the Civil War is to brought peace and stability for both sides.Maybe not Stormcloak,but still.

Well, thank you all for at least telling me, and I just want to say that I wanted to switch from Sotrmclaoks to Imperials, but I actually decided to stay with the Stormcloaks. It's not like I really have a choice in the matter.

you should of made a back up save to wen you begin the civil war
