Impatience of a Saint quest

I've finally found the most annoying and mind-numbingly boring quest in Skyrim----Impatience of a Saint. First time playing Dawnguard, trying to complete every single quest and was enjoying it until I arrived in the Soul Cairn and then I get the quest to go find 10 pages that are scattered all over the Soul Cairn. Worse than the 'collect 30 crimson nirnroots' quest in Blackreach..at least they made a noise when you got close.

I've got 7 pages so far... 2 hours searching, looked everywhere, everywhere looks the same, back and forth, round in circles. I'm sure Bethesda put this in to annoy people, along with the vampire attacks in towns.

There were a couple pages laying on the floor in places I didn't think to look, but were in plain sight that took me forever to find in my first attempt.

I suggest two things.

For what it's worth - the reward is actually one of the best amulets you'll find in the whole game. Maybe the best. Well, outside of the crafting system, of course...
