MSAA needs a fairly powerful graphics card, FXAA doesn’t. Personally I would rather not use AA at all in Skyrim than FXAA, but some people don’t mind or actually like the blurring.
Normally, in most other games FXAA sucks. I find it to be pretty decent in Skyrim though. Especially if used in conjunction with MSAA and Transparency super sample AA forced with Nvidia control panel. I use 8x MSAA+FXAA+2x supersample and it looks MUCH better than just using straight up 8x MSAA imo.
I'm going to try that out too, just to see...
