Stupid action cutscene
Is there any way to turn off the "kill" cutscenes? I mean when you make a kill and you get a slow-mo cutscene of the event. The problem is, the cutscene isn't just that, a cool little movie you can view and then continue where you left off; it continues in real time and frequently makes you fail the shot ("kill" cutscene indeed). I was killing the giant near Whiterun, you know where you meet the Companions, firing flames at his head carefully to avoid hitting the Companions. Then the cutscene, the giant slowly falls and my flamethrower follows his fall (not intentionally, but because of the darn cutscene) and hits Farkas. The Companions turn on me and kill me!

Console command:
set killmove to 0

Need to do that every time you play. Might lose achivements.

try downloading the Dance of death mod. It adds new cut scenes but you can adjust the likelyhood of them occuring so you can set it to 0% if you want. Also there are some mods that simply make NPCs more forgiving of being hit if you want those instead, though I don't know what any are called off the top of my head.

Edit: if you don't have it, even though you should, you'll need the MCM menu from Skyrim SKSE to adjust the settings

i would recommend you the "Dance of the death" mod, too. you can set the percentage chance of making a killmove.

I like the kill-cam death slo-mo just as much as the next guy, but only about 98% of the time. It's that other 2% that I get slaughtered while I'm watching a kill-scene or something unwanted happens, like above. Too bad the game isn't smarter to know when a kill-cam is needed and when it's not.

Once I was sniping an enemy with firebolts. I lost surprise (and missed) due to a kill-cam. Then I fired again-and again-and again about seven times and every time a kill-cam would make me miss the shot, until I ran out of magicka. The enemy would probably have gone down on the first shot, if it had hit.
