Your skyrim family?
Your skyrim family?
I for one love heartfire.
Comming home to a loving wife and child after slaughting bandit camp 64289 is a nice change for the useall manslaughter.

With that said:
Who is your standerd family is skyrim?

Mine is:
Wife: Ysolda
Child: Lucia
Child: Sofie

Reasoning:
Ysolda seems to be a warmhearted and caring person.
Lucia & Sofie are two girls living on the streets.
Honor hall was bad(befor gralla had a little accedent) but it is still better the living on the street.
Also i prefeer daughters over sons.

You?

I usually pick up Faendal even though he's weird looking and marry him/make him my steward just because he's easy to access early-game. Lately he's been downgraded to "just steward" and dressed as a Whiterun guard because I modded my game so I could marry Karjo.
I don't usually do much role playing in Skyrim, so I usually marry Lydia because I want the 15% Lover's Comfort bonus ASAP; we usually live in Whiterun because it's the best and cheapest house; I no longer bother with kids -- they're more trouble than they're worth.

But when I do role play it, I adopt Lucia because she's got a good sob story, and we live in Solitude because my wife tells me it's the best place to raise kids.
Strangely, my main has the same family as the OP. They live in Heljarchen Hall with the steward Gregor and bard Oriella and two pets, Sophie's dog Meeko and Lucia's rabbit.
I married camilla and now sven and faendal are wandering around my house getting in the way, i think faendal took one of the childrens beds.
Mr. Buttons joined the Companions because one day, as the khajiit wandered to Whiterun, he spied the most beautiful man ever on Alkosh's green Nirn. He was gorgeous, slaying a giant with two not so attractive Nord women, but with the man, Mr. Buttons was instantly and hopelessly smitten. He was a mage and Farkas was a warrior, but their mutual attraction knew no bounds.

He joined the Companions, took the Beast Blood, became Harbinger, and cleansed himself and his one true love, Farkas. Their love was so deep that they married when they were cleansed and now Farkas and Mr. Buttons journey through Skyrim together husband and husband. They have a little girl, Lucia, and Lydia is their best Female Friend. They have a pet fox and they had a stray dog, but he died. They may adopt Barbas and there is always room in Breezehome for another child.

Wife Serana from dawnguard dlc. Fun having a moble blood bank if cure her also she can never die. You have to use the special mod on nexus to allow it hehe and with various Serana mods you make her very attractive char to follow you.

OTP. Although I will one day have a big, gruff, Nord (or maybe Imperial) Harbinger who marries him, too.

Jenassa's still my favourite vanilla spouse, though.

The Dragonborn is called Mr Buttons?! Omg. Beautiful love story though. Has something of an ancient Greek echo to it.
I usually marry Aela, nice balance for my thief-come-champion-come-mage Redguard woman. Thought of her as a lone wolf but she is a pretty cool spouse. I'd rather marry Serana but respect why the devs didn't go for it so I never bothered with the mod.

Lucia and Sofie are usually my faves but on this playthrough I chose Alesan and Runa. They are little firebrands! It's hilarious when they play a game or shout insults to each other. Runa adopted a fox. And Rayya is pretty cool as a steward.
I always pick Farkas. He is just so sweet and kind under that rough and tough exterior. And that voice like a purring jaguar and silvery eyes! *swoon* And I like guy-liner :P It just feels wrong with anyone else. We mostly stay at our home in the Pale. I made Vilkas the steward of that manor so that I wouldn't be splitting up the twins, and Jorrvaskr is only a short distance away.

Currently my character is childless by choice, but I have adopted in previous saves. Lucia the first time, but for some reason the girls rocking their dollies creep me out. I don't know why. My last play through I adopted Blaise and Hroar. Blaise because my heart broke for him having to sleep in the stables. Hroar was so spunky and cute. As for pets, Blaise adopted Vengeance when I brought him home. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get Hroar to ask me to keep Meeko. He kept bringing home mudcrabs : /

I sometimes pick someone else to marry, only to regret it right after. I end up going to a previous save to undo my bad descision. I married Marcurio in another play through, but hated how he lost his sassiness and became sappy once we were married. Instead, I asked him to be a steward of my Lakeview home, he keeps his interesting dialogue and we're all happy.

Oh, I hate when they go all soppy. I like Jenassa because (while she sounds quite happy to have married the Dovahkiin and all that) she still stays basically the same. I married surly, snarky Lydia in my first playthrough and got quite a shock! (I also like that Jenassa's parting line when you dismiss her is arguably somewhat flirty, so the whole 'oh, gosh, is that an amulet of Mara?' bit doesn't come completely out of nowhere...)
i have on ps3
Me Female Khajiit
Wife Ysolda
Children Sissel the future dragonborn
and Lucia the Lost
Your current family was my first family until I found Ysolda sleeping with the hired help. The kids asked about her for quite some time but never found her body in the river.

My second family consisted of Muiri along with 2 kids that became orphaned by their parents being murdered. I can't remember who they were or who I had to murder for them to become parentless.

Lately though I marry simply for the early money and adopt kids so I can be mean to them. Gotta love vid games or am I like many clebrity/musician/rich person's spouse with no actual reason for marrying and having a family besides money/power. Probably the later.
Grave dug, not sure this thread is setting a great example anyway...
