Which follower is best for me?
I am currently playing as a bandit type player. I kill and rob people I come across on the road or in the wild. My problem is that if I kill too many innocents my followers always turn on me. I need a follower that isn't scared to get a little innocent blood on their sword.

Pretty sure that Cicero from the Dark Brotherhood wouldn't judge you.

Maybe a hired mercenary?

Jenassa thought about becoming a bandit. Then she decided she liked clean clothes and fresh mead :steamhappy: Her morality is set to "Any crime", so she doesn't interfere, and can also be ordered to attack almost anyone.

Jenassa in The Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. Mercenary. Easy to get and she has about as loose of a moral compass as you can get. From the wiki: "Jenassa, will readily commit any crime they are ordered to do and will ignore any criminal behavior by the Dragonborn". She has skills in sneak, archery, one handed, block, and light armor. Equip her with a bow and two one handed weapons and a single of your best arrow. Make sure to improve her set of light armor with a Fortify Blacksmithing potion and enchant it as well (that way she won't take off her light armor in favor or heavy armor with a higher rating ... as her skills are set to light armor).

So only Cicero, Jenassa, or a mercenary? Never played with Cicero before, or even done any Brotherhood quests. I did use Jenassa for a little bit, but she pissed me off by killing me a few times with an arrow to the back. Do you think mercenaries would be okay with me killing other mercenaries on the road?

They could give 0 fudge popsicles if you attack anyone as long as they have the morality of "Any Crime"

All the following followers have a morality of zero and will commit any crime:

Brelyna, J'zargo, Onmund (all three at College of Winterhold), Cicero, Dark Brotherhood Initiates, Agmaer and Beleval (both at Fort Dawnguard), all Hirelings, all Housecarls, Aranea Ienith (Shrine of Azura), Benor (Morthal), Eola (Markarth), Mjoll (Riften).

Pretty sure Mjoll doesn't have a mortality of Zero, seeing as she hates the thieves guild, and hates law breakers in general...

Serana from dawnguard does not care, before the main and after the main dawnguard questline.
Avrie Apr 11, 2016 @ 4:21am
You can also choose to install a standalone follower ... there are several rogue thief types

I basically played 200+ hours with Lydia because I was too lazy to grab somebody else. Until I found Serana then Lydia had lots of time to tend to her ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shop.

I don't bother with followers. Just another idiot shooting me in the back with spells and arrows, or running under my blade while I'm trying to fight. This is Skyrim, if you can't be self-sufficient, go back to Cyrodil.

Pretty sure the word you're going for there is "shouldn't".

In practise, she does.

Yes, it struck me as odd, but according to the wiki it is zero. No mention of it being changed by the unofficial patch.

She likes the bad boys/girls. That's why what's-his-name will never have a chance with her. And we he gets knifed in the back while Moll is sleeping in the other room.
