Miner Build
I'm thinking of starting a lore-friendly miner build, and I got that idea when I was exploring some ruins and found a pickaxe. The only thing I know is that my weapon is going to be a pickaxe. No I dunno if FudgeMuppet made a build on it and I don't (and want to) know how to install nexus mods and I also don't have any DLC. if u got any ideas, just post it down below.

I imagine a miner would pick up some alchemy along the way. Need those healing pots when you accidentally tunnel into a hive of druager. And it goes a long way to being being self efficient.
Also, you should start a mining claim and kill anything that comes near it. Because everything wants your claim and your stuff.

Find a mine and claim it as yours.

Hang out in it, claim that you own it, and kill everything/everyone who spawns in it.

Thing to know, anything you leave in the loot boxes will disappear over time.

I played an Orc miner once. He wandered from stronghold to stronghold mining the ore then selling it. Spent the weekends in town boozing it up. Sorta fun, but got boring.

Well there might be a mod for claiming mines. But yes, it's called role-playing. Sometimes it's all we have.

ok then. wut class?
Turi Apr 10, 2016 @ 6:26am
I think imperials are best for it. but wut armor?
i Apr 10, 2016 @ 6:48am
i would say stalhrim light, but you said you dont have the dlc.
GrimCat Apr 10, 2016 @ 6:48am
Class? Well, unless you're mining by casting spells, or sneaking up on the rocks before you hit them with your pick axe, warrior is pretty much the way to go.
Armor? miners don't wear armor.

I would dual wield pickaxes. Wearing normal miners clothes. Alchemy is a good choice. For defense, you could roleplay a little that you spend so much time in the mines, you can infuse the very stone into your flesh (the alteration armor spells).

It's a roleplaying game. Everything you do is just pretend. Me and a few hundred other orcs used to occupy a fort in the town of Yew that way in UO. :goblinhead: :goblin:
