Disturbing New Trend On Skyrim Nexus

Sorry to bring this up, but I don't think I'm the only one who is a little creeped out by the new child mods with naked bodies being uploaded by certain individuals on the Skyrim Nexus site.
They are little girl 'follower' mods, which in itself is ok, but these are now created with the Dimonized UNP body replacer, which is meant to replace adult female characters' vanilla body underwear so they are naked, breasts, vagina, pubes etc. People who have complained about these mods have been banned or warned by the moderators of the Nexus with even the moderators themselves 'endorsing' these sick mods.

Surely this is illegal even if it is CGI? It's sexualising children and something should be done about it. I for one have informed the necessary authorities.

It's not allowed anywhere, on Steam, Nexus, or LL. Report those mods and move on. I'd try and avoid making a fuss, since every major modding site makes an active effort to remove those types of mods, and reporting those sites to the authorities puts them in a bad light.

They're not illegal, but they're close. Personally, I'm fine with it as long as those mods are sandboxed in remote locations; I'd rather have people with real mental disorders sate their interests in a safe environment than risk having them go into the real world and do something illegal or harmful.

BTW pedofile mods are banned on nexus, but children mod/followers. Hence Children race is banned but not children followers.

Just to explain to those who don't understand: children get special protection by the law because they are more vulnerable than adults. They are more easily manipulated, threatened and coerced. Children are less likely to report a crime.

One of the reasons 'virtual' depiction of children as erotic objects is not only frowned upon, but in many countries is illegal, is that it is extremely important that pedophiles don't get desensitized to the moral and social barriers that exist when it comes to the objectification of children.

In countries with strict laws and clear moral guidelines most pedophiles (people who suffer from a mental disorder that makes them feel attracted to children in an unnatural way) will never attempt to have intercourse with a child, although there is no known cure for pedophilia.

In countries without strict laws and clear moral guidelines it's not uncommon that people who are not pedophiles in the clinical sense, abuse children.

There is also a concern that digital images can be used to groom children.

As for the legality, the images are probably (I'm not going to look at them) not realistic enough to be illegal, although I can imagine that the police might want to investigate.

There is also a real chance that people who make these kind of mods and people who enjoy them are in possession of material that is illegal.

I hope that the people behind Nexus are smart enough to realize that mods that feature naked children cross the line.

From reading the comments on the website, 95% of the comments are mostly just telling tales of adopting the child and family this family that. Still, on the very first page, theres a guy asking for CBBE, thats the same as UNP, ans serves the same (even more "enhanced") purpose...on a child.

Certainly not ALL people lookin at this mod are what you'd call pure. I couldn't care less if its just mods in a videogame, get them out. No gray area there.

I absolutely agree with you, this kind of mod is really not suitable for a site like the Nexus. What I have a problem with is people who claim something without doing the necessary research.

I'd also like to mention that some skeletons prevent the use of sexlab animations, so you really shouldn't assume that these child mods are always used for sexual purposes. It's actually quite questionable to think of every child mod as pedophilia simply because it's a child. What, should Bethesda stop including children in vanilla Skyrim/Elder Scroll games too? Maybe we should eliminate all children in real life too to protect them from sexual predators.

UNP never-nude body is anything like CBBE it can be changed to nude by swapping a couple of texture files.

I made several comments on Nexus (mostly in defense of my observation) saying that the Cecilia Follower mod "sexualises prepubescent children". For this I received a formal warning from the moderator LadyMilla for "trolling" and "false accusations of impropriety". There's really no grey area here, the facial features are that of a four year old or thereabouts and the NPC has breasts...

Also the moderators are hypocrites as they allow personal attacks as long as they serve their agenda and have allowed a comment which is a highly "abusive" attack by FishBiter on the Cecilia Follower UNP mod. I would say turning a comment around and accusing someone of needing to "seek help for your mental disorder" for being a paedophile after just one word somewhat goes against their own Terms of Service.
