Safe place for my shadowmere horse

I just received Shadowmere horse from Dark Brotherhood.

I am wondering where can i safely leave this horse so that no vampires or wild dogs or anything can attack and kill it?

I have house in whiterun, but cant bring it actually inside the city itself.

How about putting it into a small room to the left near the main entrance gate to whiterun? what do you think? there is always 1 guard around main gate as well... any ideas?

Shadowmere is literately impossible to kill so you will be safe.
Place him/she at the stable in Whiterun and you will be fine.

Certainly not impossible to kill, but I doubt any amount of vampires you'd naturally encounter in the game would be able to pull it off. As for wild dogs? Heh, no, not gonna happen.

Shadowmere can curb stomp most enemies. He has massive health and high health regen.

Even if Shadowmere somehow manages to die, he will respawn after 10 ingame days in the black pool where you found him.
