No Grass?

No matter what I do, I can't get any grass on my game, no grass mod, not even vanilla. It looks like a barren wasteland. I've tried everything. I put the correct things in the grass section of my skyrim.ini too.

iMinGrassSize=70
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bAllowLoadGrass=0

dunno what to do, I want to make my skyrim look better but it just ain't workin.

bAllowLoadGrass=0

this actually means false. as in it will not load. I do not know if this will help but
1=true
0=false
change it to 1. this might help. if not you will probably need to validate the master files.

to get back your original skyrim and skyrimprefs ini files delete these from the mydocs folder and they will regenerate original versions

No dice. I don't know why my grass won't show up, it doesn't make any sense

Actually I'm also using verdant, and my INI also has bAllowLoadGrass=0 and works fine ... I don't think it does what it looks like. Not sure what's going on in your build without more information. But have you tried toggling the grass? as in open the console and type TG then enter? Just as a test

Yeah I've tried the toggle grass thing. If it says anything, I don't have a good pc. I'm running skyrim on low settings. But I can use hd texture mods, jk's skyrim and other mods that usually give an fps hit. I've also tried turning my settings up to Medium but still no grass.

Oh by the way I figured out a fix I don't know if it will work for you but it worked for me, try using these on Skyrimprefs.ini

It's 2022. This still works and fixed this recurring problem. I thought it waws mods I was using turns out it was a basic error like this.

So, I did this fix, and now I'm getting real bad flickering and ehen I turn around big black splotches over where things should be, anyone got a fix for this? Foliage is working, but I'll have to play with some more settings

If helps it worked for me to start launcher and adjust visuals everything to max.
