Removing all mods (Nexus Mod Manger)
I went on one of those crazy mod sprees and after weeks of withdraw feel the pull. So can anyone help? I need to delete all the mods. I already unsubbed to all workshop mods. Deleted all files and reinstalled skyrim. Only problem is when I launch Nexus Mod Manger it shows tons of mods still there. Can I somehow delete them just to clean up the system?

SOLUTION!!!!
Step I. You need to activate all mods (Click on top, hold shift click on bottom that should highlight them all) Then click on the tick on the left, that will activate all of them.

Step II. Then you go up to the tool bar and wrench button (next to new profile) and look for uninstall all active mods.

Might take a while but it does the job!:steamhappy:

Wasn't there an uninstall all mods option on NMM?

Just checked, there IS an "uninstall all active mods" option under the Tools icon tab. That is if you just want to uninstall all your active mods, but not deleting (and probably want to KEEP them).
Yes there is but you have to activate all mods for them all to be deleted

You open your mod manager and then on the left side, click on "Switches the Mod Manager views", then select the mods you want to delete at once by either holding "CTRL" or if you want to delete all mods then click "CTRL + A" and once the mods you want to delete are selected, press "Delete". then it'll open a list of mods that you have selected that you wish to delete and then just click "Yes" and it'll start deleting all the mods you want.

I'd ditch NMM i.e. completely uninstall, then reinstall a different mod manager. According to the Nexus Forums;

"NMM is currently end-of-line, read why and what this means"

"End-of-line means we will no longer be working on updates or support for the current and older versions of NMM, including legacy. This includes answering support ticket questions and bug reports submitted to our bug reporting system. Essentially, you're now "on your own" when it comes to using, and fixing, issues related to the current version of NMM.

We will, on very rare occasions, release updates to the EOL version of NMM as and when necessary (Skyrim SE support is a good example) until the new version of NMM comes out to replace the EOL version."

Get Vortex their new mod manager (eek! in the alpha stage!) or one of the other managers on the Nexus site.
