Removing all mods (Nexus Mod Manger)
I went on one of those crazy mod sprees and after weeks of withdraw feel the pull. So can anyone help? I need to delete all the mods. I already unsubbed to all workshop mods. Deleted all files and reinstalled skyrim. Only problem is when I launch Nexus Mod Manger it shows tons of mods still there. Can I somehow delete them just to clean up the system?

There are excellent guides, google "make skyrim vanilla again". Grimus, iirc, has a guide, anyway, google.
Yep, it is the Grimus guide to make skyrim vanilla that you may google.

Yes but does it remove the mods in the nexus mod manger. I want them gone so I can organise better.

S.T.E.P. Project also has a guide, and will also resolve your issue, but Grimus does a great guide and deals with the DLCs iirc, but use/read both and you decide.

Before you go on antother crazy mod spree do yourself a favour: Read IIja's pinned guide and use the excellent threads it contains. Also have a boo at cfs111 guide to installing 182 mods. Great thread.

No offense. But before you go on another crazy discussion spree. Do yourself a favor and learn to spell. :P What? I said no offense.

Just use the delete key. It may ask you to do it twice to delete them from the system, but after the mods are off of NMM, I would go into my files, delete all skyrim data (uninstalling doesnt remove everything, then uninstall, reset the computer and re-install.)

All of the steps above may not be 100% necessary but I would do that if it was my intention to make skyrim vanilla. If it didn't work, then i personally would go to the guides mentioned above

A thing you could always do as well, but this could screw up your nexus settings but you could always delete the folder that stores your nexus skyrim mod info and mods.

I did this once myself and it pretty much made it act as if I just launched nexus for the first time for skyrim.

I'm not sure where it is located, I think when you install nexus for the first time you have a choice where it is saved, for me it is located at: P:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim

edit: when skyrim nexus manager is open you can go to settings, then chose the skyrim tab and in that window will display where your directory is. Then you can proceed to delete that folder of your mod directory and then it will completly remove all skyrim mods from the nexus manager.

You will still need to remove them from skyrim or do a reinstall of skyrim to go back to complete vanilla.

Solution I used. Delete all files with the word Skyrim and Nexus in it. Every Folder too. Solution just takes forever xD. Also went on another CRAZY MOD SPREE. This time it worked out fine. YAYA :D Except crashes randomly but that isn't too bad.

Next time, once you get vanilla, copy skyrim folder and save it somewhere else, than next time you want vanilla back you simply, delete and copy paste the vanilla back in .

Wasn't there an uninstall all mods option on NMM?

Just checked, there IS an "uninstall all active mods" option under the Tools icon tab. That is if you just want to uninstall all your active mods, but not deleting (and probably want to KEEP them).
