Vampire. Stealth. Dual-wield shortswords. You'll most likely want to be a Khajiit.

You;ll want to focus on more passive skills rather than combat or anything, as you won't be in to much combat. Most enimies will be lifeless before they know you're there.

dual wielding is never a bad option. since you get a bonus to sneak and illusion you should go with that. add in your seduction power and no single humanoid will stand upto you.

try to get a health absorb weapon for when things do go bad. it fits with the whole vampire life draining thing. concentrate more on stamina than magicka and health for power attacks. and incase you forget daylight bad, darkness good.

I'd consider doing the Dark Brotherhood stuff. One of the NPCs (Cicero ) that you can potentially murder has Jester's clothing. The boots and the Jester's cap alone grant bonuses to stealth and - hey! - it's a JESTER's cap. I can't remember if it was in the DB or via the Thieve's Guild I also got a gift from an NPC in a ring that granted 10% bonus to stealth and some other benefits. Plus, if you play the TG and complete the Nightingale storyline, you can potentially get a boon from your patron that allows you to virtually and literally become invisible during night or in darkened rooms. Plus, the Nightingale full costme is pretty badass-looking and has some nice stats to it, depending on your "build".

If you also come across a 1h weapon that causes stunning, like the Elven Shortsword that grants a chance to paralyze, gives you a pretty good advantage over most mobs in the event you miss that vital backstab. Plus, it'll help when those Dawnguard come after you, and if you also have trouble fighting Falmer. Some of those sh!theads are extremely tough. Hate, hate, hate them.

Personally, I'd love to get my hands on a katana. Haven't found one yet in the game I'm playing.

I was wondering about how many skills trees can one balance at one time?

also how is a good way to allocate stats?

required reading. lots of it but it will answer all your questions and more. not required but when you need to know they do know.

skills- you can add perks to any tree at any time as long as you meet the requirements.

stat allocation is a tricky question. everyone has preferences. at fist I add more to helth than anything else. for a general build I try for 2-1-1 health being more. pure combat heavy armor, smash mouth I go 3-2 health-stamina. different avriations may work for you so have fun with it.
