Keeps crashing, even after a fresh install

Here is my prediciment; I was playing Skyrim earlier today and left a mine near Riverwood, at the time I was running a combination of 28 mods. I havent crashed but one time in Skyrim and to this day when I try to verify the game cache, it tells me that its failed. Dont understand how that could be considering I purchased the game through steam. Deleted the local content and reinstalled, same problem. I then unsubscribed from all my mods and made sure to delete them, yet the problem pursued. Then went to the actual folder where all of the game data is and deleted it because I noticed it didnt actually delete all of it like I thought it would. Reinstalled and still not working. Everytime I try to load ANY save, it crashes to the desktop.

Make sure no mods are overlapping eachother and that they're all up to date. If it doesnt work then, go to the Nexus and download a script extender then launch it through that. Otherwise good luck, I hope it works

Well. even after I tried unfollowing and deleting the mods it kept crashing. but for some weird reeason it just started working again. I swear if I didnt have bad luck, I wouldnt have any luck at all

Does a new game work? Removing mods from an existing save is a big mistake due to the way Skyrim saves data.

yeah it would work, but it miraculously just started working again without the need of losing my old character. I literally just changed the graphics to low, restarted it and it worked. I then went back and changed them back to ultra and it seemed to work just fine. Dont understand what the issue was

Foreskin Hunter, I give you my deepest thanks. I have reinstalled Skyrim SE about 5 times now, deleted all data, mods included, and have just about given up. I am quite new and only had 40 hours, but I wasn't going to start all over. I tried everything, nothing helped. Then I decided to do it one last time, and motivated by a Cane's chicken sandwich, searched google one last time. Which led me to you. This finally fixed my 3 month struggle. I only regret deleting ALL of my mods.

If you deleted mods and are now continuing play using the save that formerly had mods in it, your game is broken. You CANNOT remove the vast majority of mods mid-playthrough. If you remove a mod, you must either go back to a save made prior to installing the removed mods, or start a new game - THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS!

Furthermore, this is a 3 year old thread that does not give any useful answers - and certainly not if you are playing SSE. If you have a game problem, start a new thread in the appropriate forum, and don't rely on or necro useless threads.
