Riverwood Trader has disapeared ( How to fix? )

So for a while, the riverwood trader hasn't been in his shop/house. Even during work hours. I've restarted the game many times and he wont showup. I've never killed him before either. How do i get him back?

indeed even if you revive him for the game he's still dead. Had it once with a Khajiit trader he was dead revived him he just stood there doing nothing.

I think that he can be kidnapped in companions radiant quest.
If he is really dead, you can revive him with console commands:
prid 00013487
resurrect
enable
If he will not trade after revive, you need to add him to factions, something like this:
prid 00013487
addfac 51596 1
May be some other factions should be added also.

resurrect will leave him walking, but will not reset any scripts attached to him. and can cause crashes
