Skyrim Unbound: Problem Starting Main Quest

So everybody's saying to start the main quest, you must simply kill a dragon... My problem is I can't find any dragons. Well, I did find one during the end of the Mage Guild quest where you fight a skeletal dragon but I'm not sure that counts. But from what I remember, you're to ubsorb that dragon's soul anyways... and I didn't.
I have dragons set to 'Enabled'
I am set to be a dragon-born
And I did not spawn in at Helgen, I spawned at Rorikstead instead (fun pun.)

Also, could deleting the mod fix the issue, or make things much worse?

Removing the mod is likely to make things much worse. Even if it does happen to solve the immediate problem, you're likely to run into a whole heap of new ones as a result.

I haven't used the mod myself, but to my limited understanding, you should be able to start the main quest by visiting Helgen.

In normal gameplay, dragons don't start spawning around the world until you've defended the tower near Whiterun (as part of the main quest).

The skeletal dragon is not supposed to give you a soul.

I've visited Helgen, and nothing seems to have changed.
I guess i'll try just going to that watchtower and seeing if a dragon greets me.
Normally I'd just create a new character without the mod but i've invested far too much of my sanity, and my ending time into this one to just scrap it like a half empty bag of moldy grapes.

Dragons won't spawn until you defeat "your first dragon" in the main quest. (Yeah, I know you've alredy defeated one dragon but that doesn't count because the game expects you to kill your first dragon in that mission, actually, that's supposed to be one of the first missions you do) Open the menu and disable all the quests exept the main one. In the beggining of the game, you need to go to Whiterun and talk to the Jarl at Dragonsreach, then, you'll need to talk to a mage there (I forgot his name) and he'll give you a mission to go to a dungeon and get the Dragonstone, when you give him the Dragonstone, a woman will enter the room saying a dragon attacked a tower near the city and that you need to talk to the Jarl, when you talk to him, he'll ask you to kill the dragon.
After you kill the dragon you will finally absorbe his soul. Then, the dragons will randomly spawn around the map.

Oops, I forgot to mention, you will only receive the mission to go to Whiterun and talk to the Jarl when you talk to a woman at Helgen (That's also part of the main quest). But since you said you went to Helgen and nothing changed, check if the main quest is enabled (so you can see it in the map) If it is, problaby you've alredy talked to her, then you need to do what I told you on the other comment.

That woman's not in Helgen. She'd be in Riverwood. It's either the one at the mill, or the one at the smith, depending on if you followed the Stormcloak or the Imperial out of Helgen at the beginning of the game.

Though it might be that since Swamp Master skipped the normal start of the game, he might have to start a new game to get the right intro...

Try entering the keep at Helgen and exiting at the back end if nothing changed. That might jump start the main quest.

Okay,
I've spoken to Farengar, the court wizard
I ran through the Helgen dungeon
I'm at the west watchtower right now and there are no dragons
There isn't any kind of debugging feature in the configuration menu for Skyrim Unbound
is there any further help to offer?

This may be irrelevant, but that follower you can get at the pub in whiterun just died for me and i'm pretty sure she's supposed to be essential.

I think the advice you're getting here is based on either the vanilla game or Alternate Start: Live Another Life.

Skyrim Unbound now, I believe, staggers the appearance of dragons - that is, at first they will show up around the usual dragon lairs (i.e. the outside locations where there's normally a dragon and a wordwall and maybe a few other baddies to fight). Then, after a few more in-game days, they should start appearing in random attacks. How many in-game days since you Enabled dragons? And have you tried visiting any dragon lairs?
