Head and Body have different colours
So, im probably the millionth person to ask, but... does anyone know (and can explain easily) why many NPCs (and myself) have different colored bodies and heads?
Or even better: have an easy (or easy understandable) solution for me? Like... step by step.
Best: Great solution in german.

You installed some sort of skin/body mod, most likely. If you use nexus mod manager, click the tools button at the top then click Reset Archive Invalidation at the bottom of the list.

Aaaand... if i dont use NMM? I usually simply dragged mod stuff/data into the data folder.

You need some form of archive invalidation. I don't know if there's a skyrim version of the old fallout tool "archive invalidation invalidated" or something like that.

Okay, i simply installed NMM now... Lets see how it works out
Btw, is there a way to, like... wipe Skyrim? Like uninstalling all mods in one click?

@Schrodinger - nice name. You a physicist? Anyway, get Mod Organizer to manage your mods. Since it manages mods virtually, that is, it doesn't touch the Skyrim directory but loads all your mods elsewhere. You won't ever have to touch the Skyrim directory again. Also, do you know what your textures replace? There are separate skin textures for heads and bodies, and gender too. Best thing to do is get a consistent skin texture for both HEAD and BODY. Also, you need to keep priority in mind. You might have installed one skin replacer only to install another one over top of it that changes the heads or the bodies. If you want, I would be more than happy to provide you with links to some good skin textures. Hope this helps. :)

By now ive simply killed my Skyrim.
Starting new and fresh.

NMM actually crashed my laptop, so... not going to use it. (I have a potato.)

I guess i'll simply go with XCEs Mod
No more nude in my skyrim!
