I downloaded that mod and the description says that I should download Armed To the Teeth, so I did. But then the weapon mod doesn't work. Help?

try nexus mod manager because some mods require to be loaded in certain order for them to work and the manager helps with that

I've tried but it doesnt work

You are using very old mods. Also, you are not obviously following this thread, where Armed To the Teeth was determined as mostly unstable.

Masterlist : Dangerous, Outdated and Superseded Mods by Nazenn

What you need for weapons on proper weapons on back positioning are:

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - XPMSE by Groovtama
For skeleton nodes and MCM. Animations can be found from installer. Note that Netimmerse Override is already merged to RaceMenu, so you do not need to download standalone NiO, if you are using RaceMenu.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000/?

Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS by fore
Required for register custom animations and skeleton.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/?

RaceMenu by Expired
To properly manage Skyrim racemenu and take a full advantage of XPMSE sliders.
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624/?

That is it. If you do not like animation options in XPMSE installer, then you can add new animations from Nexus to replace them. Just run FNIS after that.

If you wish to to have visible dual sheaths, then use the following mod.

Dual Sheath Redux by Neovalen
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155/?

If you just want to have visible weapons (like in Armed To the Teeth) and do not need dual sheath functionality, then use the stable 3.13 (not alpha 4.25) release of this mod.

As an amendment to Ilja's post, I would recommend All Geared Up over Equipping Overhaul as it is still supported and a lot more stable. It also allows you to have a shield and staves visible without them equipped unlike EO.

As with EO, last file update for All Geared Up was in 2014. EO 3.13 is currently the most stable release of it's kind and EO 4.25 Alpha most unstable of it's kind.

However, the mod is playable and can be used as an alternative for EO. Just keep in mind that all of it's features are not yet working correctly. It is likely that they never will, seeing that the last update was almost two years ago.

So the mods are very old, that is the problem?

Armed To the Teeth is not only out of date, but unstable. The rank is 3, which is 3rd highest rank in the list of trouble. It really is not recommended to use such a mod.

XPMSE+RaceMenu allows you to position weapons as you want from MCM and/or RaceMenu view. You just add animations (plenty of options in XPMSE installer, or you can use any custom ones) for them. You can select to position weapons to back, hip, tilted... you name it.

It is the most stable option around and also the most compatibile with other mods around. Majority of up to date mods have moved to support Netimmerse Override and XPMSE, from older unstable solutions.

Take a look at this video, which mod is it he is using and which options for the shield and sword on the back, and the dagger on the hip.

He is using XPMSE resources, but likely older ones. The MCM and RaceMenu options were not yet available, when this video was made. Current resources are more flexible.

All weapons are visible, so he is very likely using Equipping Overhaul 3.13. I am unsure if he is using Dual Sheath Redux as well, because secondary weapon was at right hand side.

ok, Ilja which mod should i download to get like him? can you like if you are nice :D

I already linked those mods above, in reply #3.

  • XPMSE for weapon nodes and most up to date compatibility. You can use it to place weapons to your back, hip, or which ever position. Just pick the correct set of animations from installer, or search Nexus for ones that are more for your liking.

  • RaceMenu for Netimmerse Override, required by XPMSE to work correctly. RaceMenu also gives you proper use of sliders, when you work with weapon position.

  • Equipping Overhaul 3.13, if you wish all your weapons to be displayed - except dual sheaths.

  • Dual Sheath Redux, if you wish that your secondary sheaths are also visible with Equipping Overhaul. You can move shield and sword to your back with this mod as well, but it still requires a proper skeleton (XPMSE) which requires NiO (RaceMenu) and mod to make all weapons visible (Equipping Overhaul 3.13.)

  • Fores New Idles - FNIS, to register custom skeleton and animations. All your characters will be permanently stuck in T-pose, unless your run FNIS after adding the custom skeleton and animations.
