Dragonborn game-breaking bugs

Hi, I am experiencing a pile of bugs with Dragonborn DLC, and the Unofficial patch does not seem to help.
First, in "The temple of Miraak" quest, Miraak does nothing when I spawn in Apocrypha: he doesn't speak and just stares in the abyss, his minions do nothing and the dragon just flies around. I was also stuck, so I had to skip that part with some console commands.
Second, people in Raven Rock do not give me side-quests (like fetching the pickaxe for Mallory, netch jelly for the alchemist or the book for the noble lady) other than the named ones like the bloodskaal and Ulen stuff.
The folks from Thirsk also can't be interacted with other than speaking their random dialogues and I can't begin their quest.
Finally, when going to the last confrontation with Miraak (damn soul-thief!), I use the Bend Will shout on the dragon but I can't interact with it (i.e.: I can't ride it).

I don't have mods modifyingSolstheim or Apocrypha whatsoever, other than one mod which makes masks disenchantable (Artifact Disenchanting, it's called) that never caused any trouble.

Can someone help me?

did you check the UESP wiki or Wikia to see if your bug has a solution mentioned ?

I'm looking for the causes of my bugs so I can run the game properly.

Do you have a bounty on you? Also list down your mod list. Who knows, maybe there's that one pants mod that somehow affects NPCs and stuff.

using console commands can break your game. it is a slippery slope and can make things worse. best thing to try and do is use a save from way before those quests and/or bugs

Try sorting your load order, if you dont know what goes where use loot (google skyrim loot). If that doesnt help, disable all your mods load a save you feel safe to load without mods. Hope that helps any.

What mod management tool do you use?
Brawl Bugs CE.esp is redundant, it is included in Enhanced Blood Textures.

Using console commands can also fix broken aspects of the game... As anyone who's ever used them can tell you, there's plenty of console commands that are readily available to fix said problems... How is it a slippery slope? I mean yes it can make things worse if you're a complete pleb and don't know what the console commands do, but if you're looking for a fix and the console command is the recommended fix: it won't be a problem...

That is what I mean. Most bugs have their own associated Console Commands with them in the Wikia or UESP. But trying things out yourself with setstages, or any commands like that can make it worse if you do not know where the fault lies.

Well, now I feel relly dumb.
It seems I forgot to click "apply" the last time I used LOOT.
Now my load order is sorted, I'm going to start the Dragonborn questline again...

I am sorry to revive this thread, but i have the exact same problem. How did you fix this?

I have simply ran LOOT and applied its changes to my messy load order as suggested, I also removed a couple of outdated mods that I found out to be quite toxic for the game (sorry, I do not recall which mods) and started a new game.
It solved the issues with the Dragonborn DLC and I finished it smoothly, not even one side quest failed to trigger, and the few CTDs I experienced were most likely caused by a slight overheating of my hardware.
Try this, and search for issues on your mods on the Web. If even few people had issues with them, I reccomend elimination of those mods from your load order and starting a new game.
