Apparently on later versions you should be able to get some sort of debug menu when talking to her, which should allow you to mess with the counters directly (presumably you can at least see what they're currently set to, anyway). Older versions have it hidden by default, but you can enable it in console with:
Anyway, in my current playthrough I've got 9 clam chowders in my inventory and she doesn't want them. So I used the debug console (using the optional files at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20787) to be able to start her quest...which was cool at first. The first part is to learn about her enemies, which is probably obvious. Then you have to find Elric (32 years after I first read the Michael Moorcock stories on which her quest is based). For me at least the drawing she made from her vision was instantly recognizable, but if it isn't for you, you can ask her to lead the way or check the spoilers at the link above. Now I'm on the staff quest with Elric and Rackhir following us and she's supposed to take us to the staff's location, but she is leading me in circles near Kinesgrove. The spoiler file (in the Nexus downloads) does mention this as a potential bug. The location for the staff quest is directly east of Greenwall Cave, not that the path is direct, just follow whatever roads to up the mountains in that general direction.
