I can't kill Lord Harkon.
So I am at the very end of the dawnguard questline while playing through the vampire side, and whenever Lord Harkon's health bar goes to zero, it disappears. the problem is that his name is still there, he's moving and killing you, and the quest won't end. can anyone help?

Yeah, I've run into that problem before. As the article mentioned by cfs111 notes, one possible method to solving that bug is to load a save from before you enter the room where Harkon is.
