Console command to swap the Gildergreen Sapling for the fully grown Gildergreen?
So, I did that quest a long time ago (so reloading is out of the question,) and took the "good" choice.

Little did I know, this meant I got a sapling that never grew into a big tree and I'm stuck with this little dinky tree.

So naturally (as both Trees are objects,) I figured I'd just disable the Sapling and enable the grown one.

I looked it up and found:

prid 46360

disable

prid 46361

enable

Which has no visible effect that I can see.

So I looked around more and found that the tree IDs are (apparently):

D : 00023612 (original/dead Gildergreen)

ID : 00046284 (New little "Gildergreen", the sapling)

ID : 000461ce (fully bloom Gildergreen , from when you do the "Wrath of Kynareth" way if you refer to the article)

I took these, then disabled the Sapling then TRY to enable the Fully Bloomed one, but nothing happens.

So what am I doing wrong? What's the trick to doing this? If all else fails would I be able to use the ResetQuest command to just replay the quest and do the violent approach and not have stuff get buggy?

You should go to nexus and Download the mod that fixes your issue instead of messing around in console.
Use google and look for Gildergreen regrow.
Here is one for you.
There are some others.

Gildergreen Regrown by Arthmoor - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12254/?

Arthmoor (mod author) - "...it doesn't matter if you have done the quest yet or not."

Though, it should be added, if you used console commands, you may have messed things up. Best bet is go back to the hard save you made before using the console commands.

I remember making this mistake as well. Hopefully one of those mods will help.
