Also, which armor/clothes pack you are using? Vanilla armor does not have sliders, so knowing what you are trying to work with will help.

That is just a texture pack which BodySlide has nothing to do with, nor can you make modifications or force it to interact with textures in anyway.
According to the mod author it is only compatible with UNP body. BodySlide is for morphing armor "meshes" so it fits CBBE, UUNP or any other compatible bodyslide mesh.
If you are not using MO, then just ignore parts of how to add BodySlide to MO as application and how to make a mod out of it. Those things are not needed with NMM.
