Skyrim Lag Only in combat

Hey guys I stopped playing Skyrim for a while and i recently started playing it again. I used to have tons of mods and my game ran perfectly fine but since i started playing again i had to re download all the mods i previously had. Today I got all of the mods installed and started playing. The first few minutes ran smooth at 60 fps but as soon as i got into combat my frames started to stutter and made it unplayable. And another thing is my load times are insanely long, loading into a building averages at about 1 minute and 26 seconds (Note: It only lags in combat with the occasional drop in game)


I really dont understand the problem because I have tried many different options and none of them work. My PC is more than capable of running Skyrim with the most intense mods for Skyrim so I know that isnt the problem.

It seems to have helped for the time being. I dont understand why its causing problems I have had it in multiple different playthroughs and never had a problem with it

Glad it helped. Sometimes, the engine's workload just piles up - here a mod for fighting, there a mod for lighting, then you have a weather mod that adds rain particles... There is also the influence of your background software. Did you record your playthrough? Do you download anything while playing? Maybe you caught a Trojan that uses your computer to send spam all over the world...who knows?

Anyway: Have fun slaughtering those bandits, and make Skyrim great again!

Haha thanks man. I dont ever record or download while playing but It wouldnt hurt to scan for a trojan.
