I started playing with mods because the escape from helgen wasn't something I was prepared to do another 30 times.
Then I wanted combat to be a bit more interesting and for the game to stop crashing.
then i wanted my game to look prettier so I got some graphics mods.
I have played over 300 hours and playing permadeath with Duel combat realism and better ai I feel like im an awesome warrior/mage dragon eater but still very mortal.
More fun and more realism. Add some mods that add weather, bathing and so on. Then it become immerse :P
The words are "I have to only be unlucky once."
Thus to rule permadeath one must not take, or ,at least, mitigate, chances; What is an open world game but a place to take chances and experience things that in all likelyhood would mess you up for real? I die a lot.
