Can't find Phinis Gestor in winterhold college

He sleeps every night between midnight and 7am in his room on the ground floor of the Hall of Countenance. After waking, he spends the morning in his room eating, relaxing, or wandering around it. At noon he enters the Arcanaeum where he remains for ten hours. At 10pm he will either wander the Hall of Attainment or return to his room to relax or go to bed.

Type the following commands into the console, in this order:

prid 1C1A7
moveto player

This should target him, then teleport him to your location. He is flagged as essential so he shouldn't be dead.

Don't worry about him too much. He had a slight... mishap, and needed to head to Cyrodiil for treatment.

I had to do this. I looked everywhere for him. Searched the whole college, waited in the dorms, and he was nowhere to be found. I have absolutely no earthly idea where he got off to

Maybe a dragon attacked and somehow pushed him out of the college
