How recharge drainblood weapons
Apologies for the noob question - I can recharge staffs with the gems ok, but the gems don't seem to recharge the drainblood weapons at all. Do I need something specific to recharge those ?

Are drainblood weapon the ghost ones? If so, I think they are one use only, maybe try to look up a mod that allows you to recharge them.

I seem to recall using souls gems to recharge them before.

EDIT: I looked them up on both wiki sites, and they both say they aren't rechargable.

Yes they are the blue ghost ones. Haven't found a way to recharge them.

Both Drainblood Axe and Drainblood Bow suffer from the same bug.

A Drainspell Bow's enchantment is too costly for its charge to allow for more than one use of its enchantment's ability. Its enchantment was most likely supposed to have a similar charge to that of the Drainheart Sword, which can be used 25 times before needing to be recharged.
  • PC Only This bug is fixed by version 1.31 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.

You have all DLCs, so use USLEEP instead.

I did not find this from UESPWiki. I honestly do not remember how they behaved in the game - it has been some time since I used them. Could you give the link to page, where UESPWiki pointed this out?

I was in a rush when I posted. I may have confused myself when I saw the bit about the weapons not being able to be improved.
