Is it possible to defeat Legendary dragon before lvl 78 ?

Command is:

player.placeatme <Item/NPCID> <#>

IDs from here:
Skyrim:Dragon UESPWiki
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragons

For example: placeatme 0008BC7E 1 would spawn a bronze fire dragon next to my character.

The xx (two first digits) in ID means the file index position prefix in your load order. In my above example 00 prefix means Skyrim.esm.

Legendary dragon was introduced in Dawnguard. The index prefix is likely 02 for DG content in your game.

They can spawn from level 50 onwards. Still next to a change in name they are hardly much tougher than a normal dragon.

The bethesda dragons arent a struggle even a legendary one at legendary difficulty. You will likely need mods if you want the fight to go for more than 1-2 minutes. Deadly Dragons mod tends to be pretty good for ramping up the difficulty.

Although rare you can encounter the odd legendary dragon from level 50 onwards. Only hard part about dragon fights is the suicidal tendancies of important NPCs.

I just read all the pages about legendary dragons, and none mention anything about level 50. There are people who believe it is possible, but there is no documentaion to back it up.

Bumping this up as a legendary dragon just showed up and I'm only level 45.
I'm using Dragon Combat Overhaul, so maybe the mod caused that, I don't know.
