i cannot sleep or wait in my own house (lakeviewmanor) its always keep saying you cannot sleep while being asked to leave ANY HELP PLEASE

Did remember one thing, you can take ownership whit My Home Is Your Home.
It can be that mod that have done it.

are you using a mod that affects your wife? Like Flower Girls? I've heard those can cause this.

But yeah, sadly the only remedy is to go to a previous save. I know, it sucks ass, but that's the reality of it. This happened to me, and with no mods to blame I just had to suck it up and undo a bunch of progress, but hey, I just do other quests, then come back to those, there's lots to do so just start progressing in other ways and you'll be back on track. Just make sure you catch it faster if it ever happens again.

I tend to return home after every quest to drop off my loot and get lover's comfort and fatherly love perks before heading off again, so I'm able to stay on top of it if it happens again.

Ok, so I may actually have found a solution, still testing it thoroughly, but if you have a bard that may be the issue. See, I think he counts as a pedestrian or something? Not as a relationship like wife, kids, or follower/housecarle, so that might be causing some glitches during the night. At night he will sometimes say "I should be going now" or something along those lines when you exit dialogue with him. Immediately afterwards you can try and wait and it will work. What you need to do is speak with him right during that time, and tell him you have no more need of his services, then test the waiting. Then talk to him again and change your mind to rehire.

So far this seems to have fixed it, sorry if the description is hard to follow, but I don't fully understand what happened myself, I was just in a flurry of trying everything after I found that lapse in trespassing. But I am sure it revolves around the bard.

NOTE: I noticed that I start trespassing when my wife starts sleeping. This is the only time when I could get the bard to create a lapse in trespassing by talking to him. It didn't work, however, when I was trespassing (during night hours) when my wife was up, like using an alchemy station or sitting. This I think, caused an error.


TLDR;
Basically, make sure you find the most recent save where your wife is sleeping or find one and wait for her to sleep, and then wake her, then try and sleep or wait, you should be able to, then wait for her to sleep again, and you will be trespassing again. (this is good) Then go to your bard, talk to him, exit, try to wait, if you can (very good), immediately talk to him again and dismiss him, then rehire. You should be able to wait and sleep again.


I think this is the most likely cause, sense the majority if not all, of the instances of this glitch occurring is in peoples homes they built, especially lakeview for some reason. I sure hope you have a bard, otherwise, I'm not sure, but fiddle around with your wife's sleeping and wake states.

oh, and another note. When you're trespassing, run around the house, see if the bard follows you, or if anyone follows you, that means that they are in alert for trespassers and have basically tagged you as a trespasser, that's a sure sign that this npc is your issue.

people are still being afflicted by it, reviving this thread with more information can help people, the more info we get the closer we come to a solution. I think I'm on to something and I want to make sure everyone has the solution and the info. And besides, what's it to you?

Anyway, did more testing and the problem resurfaced. I had to resort to perminently firing my bard, and the only way to get him to leave was to steal from him, allow him to attack you untill he starts cowering, then wait and do some stuff, untill he leaves the next night. Once he's perminently gone the problem seems to go away. I will try hiring a new bard and return with more info.

ok, so the problem lies with the bard, at exactly 2:00 Am he has a chance to go into a state where he follows you thinking you're trespassing. He won't think you're trespassing however, while he's doing something, like signing or using a work station. Just ask him to play something and that should help. Looking for a perminent fix.
