Wow, the High elf has a voice. . .sort of!!!
Played my imperial to level 50. was sort of an experiment anyway. She was a 2 sword girl because I wanted the Deathbrand stuff. Love the armor, swords not so much. I also experimented with alchemy, not so much to be an alchemist, but to expand my idea of using secondary skills and non-essential skills to help leveling, I still believe it is a good idea.

So I got this idea to play a high elf, using the Thalmor agent in the alternate start. She is not a Thalmor, but an agent from a nameless faction working against the Thalmor.

Anyway, she said the coolest thing in combat, too bad it was wasted on a wolf. "to your knees, worm." I love this new character, hope she has some more cool quips.

You have probably downloaded a mod that makes them speak slightly, your character in the vanilla game never speaks, they just grunt round again

I have no mods that aid player voicing. She has 3 phrases, "on your knees, worm" "Fear the Thalmor" and something like "Stupid humans", she can only say them in combat.

I have played a little with most other races, never heard more than a grunt or yell. The only one I never played was Argonian, so I don't have a clue about them.

This guy is obviously either lying or using a mod.
These voice strings/files don't exist in the game files.

Whatever!!!

unfortunately a lot of wild claims have been made over the years and until we have proof we have become skeptical of these claims.

that being said some of the wildest claims have been proven true with vids and screenies.

Know this is a bit old.... but what the OP posted is true. I was equally shocked to actually hear my high elf character utter "stupid human" in combat.

I'm guessing the mod "live another life" might have something to do with it? I also chose the path of playing as a thalmor agent and realized my character started mouthing off when she got into a fight with some bandits at ironback hideout.... and I thought it was really, really cool.

Pity I don't know how to video my gameplay otherwise I'd gladly do so as proof.

"a bit old"
Very old you mean lol.
I have tried playing as a high elf with the live another life mod and choosing the thalmor agent, played a few hours but have never heard them speak. I've only heard it through mods.
Of course, without evidence I don't really believe you, but I'm certainly not saying that you are lying.

It's something LAL does then.

Which means, it is a mod. As was mentioned way up top, the voice files do not exist in the vanilla game.

In SE, my current male Orc said 'You can't best an Orc' or something like that when he killed a Nord bandit. But I chalk that one up to buggyness as I was having a slight bug issue. Or maybe the ai was confused, thinking the Nord bandit was an Orc.

I did wanted my High Elf girl to be a Thalmor, I don't recall installing any mods that would make her say things like "Fall to the Thalmor!" or "On your knees, worm!" randomly as I swing the weapon [be it in combat or not],

but...

I do remember setting the player faction to be affiliated with the Thalmor,
so maybe that's what made it happened.

Not sure why you replied to a thread from 27 Dec, 2016, but oh well no harm done.

As for your character being affilitated with the Thalmor, I can't really confirm that, out of the many many characters I have played in skyrim I have never heard my actually talk (unless you count shouting rofl) without mods. As for LAL, I can't really say, I have done a short playthrough through being Thalmor and again I have never heard my character talk.
