Dungeons too dark?
Hello, while exploreing alot of dungeons is way to dark to see much in some places. I beleive its due to a mod i use to remove shadows so i gain a few fps, is there anyway i can brighten up the dungeons?

Sorry for asking the obvious question but:
Are you using a torch or mage light?

If you do not with to carry a torch, enchant light property to weapon or use Khajit ability.

or if you are a werewolf, vampire or Khajiit Gophers predator vision and yes you can eat with that to give your character nigh vision.

Alternatively, iff the problem is, as you suspect, due to the installation of a particular mod, the most logical solution would be to remove the mod.

Removing mods mid-playthrough should only be done if you're prepared to reload to a save before you installed it, otherwise you can mess things up quite badly.

Also, removing shadows shouldn't make the dungeons darker.

I removed the popular realistic lighting mod during a playthrough with no problems. Turns out I didn't want that much realism.
The wearable lanterns mod is pretty good. The only thing is that you have to craft the lantern yourself, so look up the recipe. Your followers can equip them also.

I use the shadow remove mod ecause i get a weird graphical glitch with shadows. if i stand behind a tree i see all these weird black lines on my screen, like little patches of shadows. its weird.

It could be my brightness too tho, as i use f.lux. But when i messed with it in game it didnt change too much. But theres certin parts in dungeons where its just to dark to see anything, and even weirder to bright to see anything. the town near the 7,000 steps, it has this small cave where a bear was, and its so bright. like blinding bright.

Try fiddling with your monitor's brightness and contrast settings.

?!

This, this right here, is why FO3, this game, and FO4 are lit so brightly that full night is nearly the same as daylight.

Its supposed to be an RPG, not a hack and slash. Hotkey your sword and torch and swap between them.

Otherwise - check gamma - either the in-game/launcher settings or your monitor's brightness. Either of those should help to lighten the dark areas up.

one would assume that me being The Relaxing Shadow, darkness would also be my allie, but you need some light to create a shadow. :P
